SAS model 300 RuggedAir mobile fume extractor protects operator’s breathing zone

SAS has introduced the model 300 RuggedAir mobile fume extractor. It removes airborne fumes and particulates produced by welding, metalworking, powder handling, and solvents and chemicals.

The system features a cleanable Micro-Pleat Series 2 particulate filter that can be cleaned with compressed air while in the unit’s chassis.

Features include a digital display with a Magnehelic® gauge and hour counter. The gauge allows the operator to monitor the filter saturation, and the counter can be reset to allow for consistent preventive maintenance schedules. The 7-ft., heavy-duty arm features a power button and light.
