Ideanomics to acquire VIA Motors
VIA Motors
New York-based Ideanomics, a financial technology firm that promotes the switch to electric vehicles, will acquire VIA Motors, a manufacturer of commercial EVs in Orem, Utah.
Under the deal, VIA will make commercial EVs for commercial fleets and product distributors throughout North America. The automaker’s assets include proprietary software and control systems for optimizing fleet operating costs.
