All Metals Fabricating adds TRUMPF fiber laser

All Metals Fabricating Inc., Allen, Texas, has expanded its fleet of fabricating equipment with a TRUMPF TruLaser 5030 2-D fiber laser cutting machine featuring an 8-kW TruDisk solid-state laser and two TruStore 3030 storage towers.

With BrightLine fiber, the laser can process up to 1-in. steel and 1.5-in. stainless and aluminum. The laser source, machine, optics, optional cutting technologies, automation, storage systems, and software have been developed to work in tandem and minimize cost per part, the company reports.
