Bystronic forms Smart Factory Solutions Team

Bystronic, Inc., Hoffman Estates, Ill., a manufacturer of sheet metal processing equipment, has established a Smart Factory Solutions Team with extensive experience in demonstrating and implementing digital Industry 4.0 systems for manufacturing supply chains and manufacturing plants. The team will demonstrate the interoperability of digital manufacturing systems and manage the implementation of the company’s Smart Factory Solutions within customers’ production environments.

Adria Haines, regional head of Smart Factory Solutions, studied computer science at the University of Cincinnati and began her career developing and supporting CAD/CAM software. She went on to serve as an application engineer, demonstrating and implementing CAD/CAM interoperability projects to Fortune 500 manufacturers, and then crafting systems for customers. She serves as vice chair of FMA’s Software Technology Council.

Brandon Holmes, solutions designer/project manager, has more than 10 years of experience managing projects designed to improve the efficiency and processes of manufacturing facilities. After graduating from Michigan State with an electrical engineering degree, he began his career as a manufacturing engineer, completing Six Sigma projects around the country. For the last decade, Holmes has been a solutions project manager, designing and applying custom software configurations.

David Iyoha, solutions sales expert, has more than 20 years of experience helping companies leverage technology and software systems. For the past seven years he has worked with manufacturers and fabricators on their technology applications with a focus on CAD/CAM, MES, ERP, and digitization. He helps manufacturing supply chains and manufacturing plants with their operations, business processes, and continuous improvement programs.

James Lindsey, product manager software, has more than 30 years of experience helping companies improve processes and develop CAD/CAM software. He began his career as a design engineer in the sheet metal fabrication and cutting tool industry, transitioning to sales and support of CAD/CAM software. He went on to become a product manager for a CNC nesting software company.
