Smucker Laser adds second fiber laser for sheet metal cutting services
Smucker Laser Cutting & Metal Fabrication, located in Lancaster, Pa., has added a TRUMPF 3030 fiber laser. Featuring a 5- by 10-ft. cutting table, the system cuts steel to 1-1/4 in. thick, stainless steel to 1-1/2 in., aluminum to 1 in., and copper and brass to 1/2 in.
The production cell includes a Liftmaster Compact sheet loader/unloader that automatically separates parts from scrap for simplified parts handling and 24/7 lights out capacity.
