TRUMPF appoints VP of technical service

Farmington, Conn.-based machine tool and laser manufacturer TRUMPF Inc. has appointed Annette Doyle as vice president of technical service. Jim Rogowski, who formerly held this position, has joined the sales team as regional sales manager for machine tools.

Doyle joined the company in 2002 as a project engineer in the service department. Since that time she has held several management positions, including head of machine assembly, managing director of TRUMPF Great Britain, and most recently national service director in the U.S.

Doyle holds bachelor’s degrees in business administration and mechanical engineering, as well as a master’s degree in technology management. She has been recognized by The Manufacturing Institute, Deloitte, University of Phoenix, and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers with a Woman in Manufacturing STEP (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Production) Award for excellence and leadership in manufacturing.
