Pegasus Steel (USA) adds robotic structural steel fabrication system
Goose Creek, S.C.-based Pegasus Steel (USA), a manufacturer of large, complex steel fabrications, has expanded its capabilities with the addition of a PythonX Structural robotic structural steel fabrication system.
The system performs drilling, coping, and sawing to length and features a patented process that enables it to produce AISC-compliant, nearly taperless structural bolt holes, the company reports.
