FMA/CNA Insurance Safety Award winners announced for 2022

The Fabricators & Manufacturers Association Intl. (FMA), Elgin, Ill., has announced the recipients of this year’s Safety Awards. Open to all FMA Business members, the program recognizes metal fabrication companies that have a commitment to excellence in safety. Award winners are determined by the FMA Safety Council, and the awards are sponsored by CNA Insurance.

The highest safety honor is the Rusty Demeules Award. It honors longtime former FMA volunteer Rusty Demeules’ passion for creating safe work cultures and is presented to one company each year that best exemplifies a dedication to safety.

TJ Snow, Chattanooga, Tenn., has earned the 2022 Rusty Demeules Award for Safety Excellence for its employee-responsible and integrity-driven approach to making safety a way of life and not a buzzword. “[TJ Snow] has taken a more creative approach to safety that has proven very effective. From the buy-in of employees to the execution of a safety program built on integrity, this company has created a safety culture that extends from work to home,” said Eric Montgomery, risk control director, CNA Insurance.
