Scientific Dust Collectors completes ASHRAE 199 testing of baghouse unit
Scientific Dust Collectors (SDC), Alsip, Ill., has established an on-site ASHRAE standard 199 test lab and recently completed testing on its Reverse Pulse Jet Baghouse Collector.
The standard provides an objective method of testing the performance of an industrial pulse cleaned dust collector. The test comprises six well-defined procedures to measure and document emissions, differential pressure, and compressed air consumption. The 36-page test results document is available from the company.
