Allied Metal earns ISO 9001:2015 certification

Allied Metal Ltd., a metal fabricator based in Calgary, Alta., has announced it has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification. The process for certification took the fabricator more than 18 months and began with the design and implementation of its quality management system.

Desmond Peddle, operations manager, and Sabrina Bennett, business administration manager, acquired their Internal Auditor Certificates of Achievement and completed two internal audits for each department in the organization before applying for the external audit. On Aug. 27, 2019, SAI Global completed an external audit, with zero nonconformances recorded.
