Miller Fabrication Solutions appoints director of business processes

Brookville, Pa.-based Miller Fabrication Solutions, a metal fabricator serving OEMs in the construction, forestry, transportation, and oil and gas industries, has appointed Paul Sorek as director of business processes. In this position, he oversees the automation, engineering, process development, and quality control departments. He succeeds Rich Steel, who has been named director of lean manufacturing.

Sorek joins the company after 15 years at Matson Lumber Co., including eight years as president. He has a master’s degree in hydrogeology from Colorado State University and a bachelor’s degree in geosciences from Franklin and Marshall College.
