Cortec Corp. CorrVerter®, a water-based, fast-drying, one-coat rust passivating primer, converts rusted surfaces to a hydrophobic passive layer and prevents further rusting through its formulation of chelating agents and PVDC resins.

The primer helps simplify surface prep. The user simply removes loose rust with a wire brush before spraying or brushing the primer onto the corroded surface. The product can be top-coated with many different water-based and solvent-based coatings, including urethanes, epoxies, acrylics, and alkyds.
