Cortec’s EcoShield VpCI-144 moisture barrier paper is repulpable

Cortec Corp. has introduced EcoShield VpCI-144 paper, a vapor-phase corrosion-inhibiting moisture-barrier paper that can be recycled. Providing comparable water vapor barrier properties to polyethylene and wax paper, it is fully repulpable according to the Fibre Box Association Voluntary Standard, the company reports.
The paper does not contain nitrites, phosphates, silicones, chromates, and other heavy metals. It protects against corrosion on ferrous and nonferrous metals in storage or shipment.
