Kaeser SmartPipe for compressed air distribution helps reduce installation time

Kaeser Compressors’ SmartPipe is a modular aluminum pipe for compressed air installations in small shops to large industrial systems. According to the company, the pipe offers decreased installation costs and reduced long-term operating costs.

Available in sizes up to 8 in. pipe diameter, the compressed air distribution system combines lightweight materials and connectors to help reduce labor and installation time, especially in overhead installations.

The smooth calibrated aluminum construction has a low friction coefficient, providing improved laminar flow. Full bore fittings help minimize pressure drop for optimum flow and energy efficiency. Leak-free connectors help prevent air loss and wasted energy.

The pipe is suitable for installations requiring high-quality air. Aluminum material will not rust or corrode and has no rough surfaces or interior restrictions that accumulate contaminants. The smooth interior with full bore design allows them to flow to dryers and filters for removal.
