Midwestern Industries’ MR-18 Gyra-Vib separator offers small footprint

Midwestern Industries Inc. has introduced the next-generation MR-18 Gyra-Vib separator that features an 18 in. diameter for small-volume applications such as steel shot peening.

Used to separate particles by size or separate solids from liquids, the unit features a center-mounted, sealed, 1,800-RPM motor and balance cage weight system to control the vibratory screening motion during the screening process. The lead angle can be changed for optimal flow patterns by adjusting the weights.

Multiple screening decks are available for simultaneous separation, and screen meshes come in styles down to 25 microns.
