Novarc Technologies appoints CTO
Novarc Technologies Inc., Vancouver, B.C., a provider of cobots and AI systems for robotic welding applications, has appointed Sina Firouz as chief technology officer. Reza Abdollahi, company co-founder, will transition to the role of emeritus CTO.
Firouz has more than 15 years of experience working in technical leadership roles at Google, Meta (formerly Facebook), Amazon, and Uber. He holds a PhD from Stanford University and a bachelor's degree from Sharif University, both in electrical engineering.
