Harbor Freight Tools’ VULCAN OUTLAW 195 SMAW system with generator delivers smooth welding

Harbor Freight Tools has introduced the new VULCAN OUTLAW 195 engine-driven SMAW unit with 6,500-W Predator generator. The portable welding unit features a maximum DC welding output of 195 amps at 30% duty cycle and 107 amps at 100% duty cycle. Powered by a 13-HP engine that provides 6,000 W of running power, it includes 120- and 240-V outlets for job site power.

The system features an electric start (12-V battery included) with a manual backup and can run for 6.5 hours at 50% load. The digital display enables fast, easy weld setups, and thermal overload protection extends the welding unit’s life, according to the manufacturer.
