Specialty Steel Works announces CEO transition
Specialty Steel Works Inc., Hammond, Ind., has appointed current President/COO Michael Salamon as CEO/president. He also becomes a member of the board of directors. Joel Hawthorne has stepped down as CEO.
The company is a manufacturer and processor of value-added specialized steel products, including cold-drawn seamless tubes. It operates under three business units: Michigan Seamless Tube, Niagara LaSalle Corp., and Corey Steel Co.
