Steel Tube & Pipe 2021 scheduled for May 10-12

U.K.-based Fastmarkets, part of the Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC group, will hold its Steel Tube & Pipe 2021 event virtually May 10-12, 2021. It will include steel market experts covering supply and demand outlooks, the financial health of the oil and gas industry, and developments along the supply chain. Attendees will be able to connect with fellow steel tube and pipe professionals and steel market analysts in breakout sessions.
Keynote speakers include Josh Croix, chief commercial officer of Borusan Mannesmann; Dean Rougas, executive vice president of Benteler; and Bertrand Frischmann, senior vice president of Vallourec NA.
Attendance at the first two days of the event is free of charge. Visitors can add a third day to participate in the planning workshop, which includes analysis from Fastmarkets steel experts:
- Kim Leppold, principal analyst, will give an overview of OCTG and line pipe markets in 2020 and through the start of 2021, as well as demand in the coming two years.
- Alex Kershaw, steel analyst, will discuss steelmaking raw material prices and how steel and tube and pipe producers are coping with these costs.
- Amy Bennett, principal consultant, and Grace Asenov, North American steel editor, will review HRC production and prices in the U.S., as well as flat steel procurement strategies.
