This introductory seminar provides a brief overview of the latest advanced tools focused on sheet metal stamping, helping to enable the efficient design and engineering of manufacturable components. Also addressed will be new software tools for building, validating, finalizing and troubleshooting complex stamping processes.

Attendees will experience the inner workings of these software tools, developed to manage part production start-to-finish:

  • Meaningful feasibility based on part geometry using AutoForm StampingAdviser, followed by process layout and building of form tools using AutoForm DieDesigner.
  • Interactive and iterative simulation of the process using AutoForm ProcessExplorer.
  • Optimization of blank and trim lines using AutoForm Trim, culminating in a true and final validation of process repeatability/robustness using AutoForm Sigma.

Also highlighted: Intuitive operation, embedded stamping-industry standards and practices, interactive operation strongly enhanced through parametric associativity, very quick turnaround on development and simulation, and more.

Presenter: Bryan Lang, Senior Application Engineer, AutoForm Engineering USA, Inc.
