3DX signs letter of intent to acquire Specialty Metal Works

3DX Industries Inc., a Ferndale, Wash.-based additive manufacturer specializing in metal 3D printing, has announced that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire Specialty Metal Works LLC, Blaine, Wash., which includes a 5-acre land parcel and manufacturing facility.

Specialty Metal Works is a parts manufacturing company, currently operating out of an 8,400-sq.-ft. facility.  In addition to the land and buildings, the acquisition includes CNC lathes, twin turrets, and CNC vertical milling machines.
