AdditiveNow: a new joint venture between Aurora Labs and Advisian Digital

A new company has been formed to serve the additive manufacturing (AM) needs of clients in the oil and gas, mining, and infrastructure sectors.

Called AdditiveNow, the 50-50 joint venture brings together Aurora Labs Ltd., an industrial-technology company specializing in developing 3D metal printers, powders, and digital parts, and Advisian Digital, a data- and digital-science company that is part of the WorleyParsons Group.

AdditiveNow, West Perth, Australia, offers consultation and engineering services and can 3D-print small volumes of parts.

Aurora Labs Managing Director David Budge said, “We look forward to helping our new, broader network of customers find business advantages through 3D printing solutions, especially across the mining, oil and gas, and major infrastructure sectors. As our technology comes to market, Aurora is optimistic that interest in 3D printing technology across these industries will increase.”

The new joint venture AdditiveNow was formed to provide consultation, engineering, and short-run-printing services for industries like oil and gas and mining.
