3D Printing Tech announced in March that it had purchased critical assets of Voodoo Manufacturing, a Brooklyn, N.Y., 3D printing service bureau that shut its doors last August.

According to a press release, the acquisition will let the Georgia business continue to offer cost-effective printing solutions to the general public while expediting growth and redefining how major corporations use 3D printing to improve manufacturing processes.

3D Printing Tech, founded in 2015 by Josh Stover and Jason Daenzer, prints parts in-house on SLA, FDM, and SLS equipment and offers design, modeling, and scanning services. Its customers include Delta, Coca-Cola, NASA, IBM, and Marvel.

The company also plans to become a 3D printer reseller, handling sales for XYZ Printing, 3D Platform, and Raise3D.
