The Barnes Group Advisors, a Pittsburgh-based consulting firm to the 3-D printing sector, and Expanse Microtechnologies, a Toronto-based provider of X-ray CT data analysis focused on improving the understanding of additive manufacturing (AM) processes and advanced materials, have announced a joint partnership.
The companies have signed a partnership agreement for characterizing 3-D printed parts. The Barnes Group Advisors will offer Expanse Microtechnologies X-ray CT scanning as part of a package to help companies using AM develop a robust manufacturing process. In addition, the partnership offers AM consulting services to Expanse Microtechnologies’ clients through The Barnes Group Advisors.
