Philadelphia-based Carpenter Technology Corp. has announced that its additive manufacturing (AM) production facility in Camarillo, Calif., CalRAM LLC, has achieved AS9100 Rev D certification for its quality management system. CalRAM offers powder-bed fusion additive technologies used to manufacture parts for the aerospace, defense, power generation, and oil and gas industries.
The company also recently installed a new Arcam EBM Q20plus AM printer at the facility to complement its existing portfolio of electron beam and laser capabilities.
