Coherent acquires OR Laser

California-based laser equipment supplier Coherent has acquired Dieburg, Germany-based OR Laser.

Founded in 1997, OR Laser’s products include its Creator metal 3-D printing machine that features a 250 W fiber laser. It requires no third-party software to turn a CAD model into a printed part.
