Optomec appoints VP business development

Jamie Hanson

Optomec, a supplier of production-grade additive manufacturing (AM) systems in Albuquerque, N.M., has hired Jamie Hanson as vice president business development.

For the past 10 years, Hanson served as the director of corporate development at Methods Machine Tools and COO of Methods 3D. For 17 years before that, he worked at Applied Materials as director of eastern regional account operations. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and was an Airborne Ranger.
