Roush invests in additive manufacturing equipment

Roush, a product development supplier in Livonia, Mich., that provides engineering, testing, prototype, and manufacturing services to the mobility, aerospace, defense, and theme park industries, has installed a Concept Laser Xline 2000R powder-bed metal additive system.

The machine has a build envelope of 800 by 400 by 500 mm for large-scale production, such as engine blocks. It includes a rotating platform that allows two build modules to be used reciprocally.
