SLM Solutions names new director of engineering applications

SLM Solutions NA announced that it has hired Aaron LaLonde as Director of Applications Engineering. He will provide customer support, including answering questions about material properties and test-part production, provide technical sales support, marketing support, and conduct research and development.

SLM Solutions, Wixom, Mich., also reported that Richard Grylls has left his position as the company’s Technical Director. Grylls accepted a position with one of SLM’s customers, Carpenter Technology Corp., where he will focus on additive manufacturing applications.
