The Additive Report to cover additive manufacturing from a real-world perspective

The Additive Report magazine will strive to cover what additive manufacturing could possibly mean for today's manufacturing companies.

FMA Communications Inc. has announced the launch of The Additive Report, a publication dedicated to the coverage of additive manufacturing technology and its impact on the designs and processes of modern-day manufacturers.

The publication will debut in October 2018. It will be sent to 24,000 subscribers who have indicated an interest in additive manufacturing technology. This publication’s circulation includes 7,000 printed publications and 17,000 digital editions.

The Additive Report will be a critical resource to help designers, engineers, and manufacturers stay current on the latest additive/3-D printing technologies,” said Andy Flando, FMA Communications vice president, market development. “By launching The Additive Report, FMAC continues to stay current in bringing new, exciting manufacturing technology information to the market."

“We look forward to showing today’s manufacturers just what additive manufacturing can mean for their businesses. While a lot of the additive manufacturing focus has been on the manufacturing efforts of Fortune 500 companies and research being done at the world’s leading universities, we want to highlight what the technology can mean for manufacturing companies today, be it for making a special production tool or a custom end effector that allows a robot to manipulate odd-shaped components. We also want to present a picture of what the technology can do on a larger scale, such as the high-volume production of parts that can’t be fabricated any other way,” said Dan Davis, the publication’s editor-in-chief. “We are excited to present the real world of additive manufacturing to readers.”

The Additive Report brand will be supported with lead-generating products that will include custom emails, live events, and videos. It will have a very large presence at FABTECH, Nov. 6-8.
