BASF additive manufacturing division expands resins line

Ultracur3D EL 4000 is the latest flexible resin for 3D printing from BASF Forward AM. With the addition of this resin, which has a hardness of Shore 90A, the company’s line of elastomeric resins now ranges from Shore 40 A to 90 A.

EL 4000 has high green strength and tear-resistance, making it a good material for printing intricate, flexible parts like footwear, bike saddles, and cushioning pads, says the manufacturer.
