The HSE line of 3D printers from Essentium were designed for “industrial use by manufacturing and semiconductor professionals unable to find all the qualities they needed in a single solution to operate at scale,” claims the manufacturer.

The HSE 180•S has a 690- by 500- by 600-mm build area, is accurate to < 30 microns in the X and Y axes and < 5 microns in Z, extrudes 1.75-mm filament, and features direct-drive servomotors and 3G acceleration.

According to the company, the HSE 3D printing platform deposits up to 500 mm of filament per second with 1-micron precision, offering the repeatability needed for production at scale.
