On-demand manufacturer offers a 3D printer for large plastic parts

IC3D Industries, which manufactures 3D printing filaments and prints prototypes and other devices for clients, is offering the Virago 700 3D printer for large objects made from engineering-grade plastics.

The FFF-style printer features independent, dual extrusion heads; 500 mm/sec. travel speeds; modular tool heads; a standard hot-end nozzle with a diameter of 0.6 mm (diameters from 0.4 to 2.5 mm are available); and a build envelope of 600 by 700 by 785 mm.

The open-materials printer runs ABS, PETG, PLA, UV-resistant PETG, nylon, carbon-fiber composites, and many other engineered materials.
