Sindoh’s new 3D printer supports Materialise’s processing technology for recycled polymers

Sindoh Co. Ltd., a Korean manufacturer of 2D and 3D printers, has launched its first industrial polymer printer. The S100 reportedly is the first commercially available 3D printer to offer Bluesint PA12, a processing technology developed by Materialise that eliminates wasted material and allows parts to be 3D-printed from 100% recycled powders.

The S100 has a build envelope of 510 by 510 by 500 mm; a scanning speed up to 15 m/sec. (33 ft/sec.); and two lasers, each of which covers the full printing field. Additionally, thanks to the machine’s scanning technology, the spot size of each laser can be adjusted independently on the fly.

The printer has a maximum processing temperature of 200 degrees C., allowing it to produce a wide range of materials, including Evonik’s PA12 and BASF’s Ultrasint PA11, TPU, and PP.
