Collins Associates announces plant expansion
Collins Associates Inc., parent company of Venco/Venturo Mfg., has announced plans for a 30 percent plant expansion at its Cincinnati headquarters, with construction complete by the end of 2012.
The expansion is a result of the company's 20 percent growth in sales since the recession ended. According to Brett Collins, president, having all product line manufacturing under one roof will increase the company's capacity to absorb large fleet orders without disrupting ongoing distributor orders.
The expanded area will be used for shipping and receiving, finished-goods storage, inventory staging, and future manufacturing space.
Venco/Venturo manufactures truck-mounted cranes, crane bodies, and hoists.
