EMT West names managing director
EMT (Elite Mfg. Technologies) West, Henderson, Nev., has appointed Rahul Sarkar to the new position of managing director. As managing director, he is responsible for overseeing all facility operations and production, as well as direct quality and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Sarkar has more than 25 years of experience in production management and facility operations. He joined the Elite Companies in 2009 as director of quality for Elite Mfg. Technologies Inc. in Bloomingdale, Ill.
Sarkar has a master's degree in metallurgy from the Illinois Institute of Technology and is a registered professional engineer.
The company manufactures precision sheet metal fabricated components and assemblies and provides such production capabilities as finishing and laminating.
