TRUMPF to host Manufacturing Day tour

In celebration of national Manufacturing Day, Oct. 4, 2013, TRUMPF® Inc. will give visitors a firsthand view of manufacturing at its headquarters in Farmington, Conn. The company will provide a guided tour to highlight the process behind the production of its fabricating machinery, with a focus on manufacturing and assembly for the TruLaser 1030 and TruLaser 1030 fiber 2-D laser cutting machines.

The 392,000-sq.-ft. production facility includes clean rooms for the manufacturing of laser resonators, R&D laboratories, machine demonstrations, and customer training. Tours will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 2 p.m. To register, visit www.mfgday.com/events/trumpf.
