Seam tracking system suitable for reflective materials

Invisual E. offers the Scan Sonic seam tracking system. Designed for tube and pipe producers using arc-related welding processes such as laser, GTAW, GMAW, and subarc, the system maintains the torch position over the seam in real time, providing the optimum heat and material transfer for proper fusion and weld penetration.
The system can be used on reflective materials such as stainless steel and aluminum. It measures such geometric data as area, gap, mismatch, and angles. Triple-stripe laser projection helps ensure a reliable data point.
