Two-finger adaptive gripper made for high-mix automation

May 17, 2012

Robotiq has announced the availability of its two-finger adaptive robotic gripper. The programmable gripper offers three distinct modes — parallel, encompassing, and inside grip — to enable handling of flat, square, cylindrical, and irregular parts.

The high payload-to-weight ratio and long stroke allow parts of various sizes to be handled in a compact form factor. Speed and force controls enable handling of parts from brittle to deformable to stiff.
