GTAW torch line introduced
- October 16, 2013
- Product Release
- Arc Welding
ESAB Welding & Cutting Products has introduced TXH™ GTAW torches, designed for use with GTAW machines that have an OKC connection, including ESAB Caddy® Arc; Caddy® Tig; and Heliarc® 281i, 283i, and 353i models. Remote versions operate with CAN-bus-controlled machines.
Air-cooled and water-cooled torch packages are available, including remote versions. Flexible-head versions help ensure welding tasks can be carried out in difficult-access areas, while the 401w HD model is designed for heavy-duty applications up to 400 amps.
Electrode diameters vary from 0.040 to 0.125 in. (121 model) to 0.040 to 0.1875 in. (401w model). All torches comply with EN60974-7 GOST-R and CCC standards. The torches can be specified with or without a gas valve and with or without a flexible neck, according to individual preference and intended usage.
The lightweight torch heads, which have a cooling system, are made with high-temperature-resistant silicone rubber. Copper components help ensure cooler running temperatures.
