End mill geometry designed for chatter-free machining - TheFabricator.com

Haimer GmbH offers Power Mill solid-carbide end mills. Made from fine-grain carbide, they are equipped with the manufacturer’s pullout protection system, Safe-Lock™, for HSC and HPC machining.

The end-mill geometries are based on an unequal flute and helix design for chatter-free machining. All tools are PVD-coated and have a smooth surface for chip evacuation.

With cutting diameters from 0.08 to 0.79 in., the end mills are available with three, four, or five cutting edges with multiple lengths of cut. Different cutting edges (sharp, chamfer, and radius) are offered. A roughing geometry with a cord profile also is part of the portfolio.
