Roll forming line produces roof, floor metal decks

Samco offers its Deck and Panel Line, a roll forming line designed to produce roof and floor metal decks. The line includes an uncoiler, roll former, embossing unit, and flying cutoff press. A drop stacker can be added for material handling.

The line features high-speed, continuous operation; rapid changeover among various profiles, closed-loop length control for cut-length accuracy; and plug-and-play capability with electrical quick disconnects for simplified installation and maintenance.

Rafted mills allow for quick roll tooling changeover. The design also helps reduce the number of required setups, decreasing production downtime. The Deck flying press is designed to work in a continuous operation. Its slugless characteristic eliminates the creation of scrap during operation.

The cutoff length, closed-loop control can achieve up to +/- 0.0625 in. The roll former is designed to have minimum shaft deflection.
