Listening to the loud messages Editor's Picks -- Work Force Development Web Sites

One of the loudest messages of the day was that managers, presidents, and owners need to ask the employees actually doing the work for their suggestions on how things should be done. And then listen.
Another loud message from the work force development discussions was that no matter how busy we are, we need to be talent advocates. That means having a deliberate plan for recruiting, training, and retaining a high-quality work force.
Of course, I don't have enough space here to share all the suggestions resulting from interaction with attendees at The FABRICATOR's Sheet Metal Forum. So, I encourage you to consider attending next year's event Feb. 24-26 in Orlando, Florida.
Below I have listed my "Editor's Picks," which were distributed at the Forum. These are with Web sites I like on work force development and job hunting and recruiting.
