AVL, Comau sign strategic partnership to develop systems, components for electric vehicles

AVL List GmbH, a provider of engineering, simulation, and testing technology for powertrain systems, and Comau SpA, a provider of industrial automation products and systems, have joined forces to offer simulation, design, assembly, and testing of powertrain components for electric vehicles (EV) and traditional vehicles.

The initial focus of the partnership is on assembly systems and end-of-line testing for automotive batteries.
