Dallas Industries delivers feed line to Pentaflex

Dallas Industries, Troy, Mich., a manufacturer of coil handling and press feeding equipment and controls, has delivered an UnderLoop SpaceSaver feed line to Pentaflex. The Springfield, Ohio, contract manufacturer produces metal stampings and assemblies, specializing in heavy-gauge and highly formed components with primary focus on the medium-duty and Class 8 truck market.

The feed line design comprises a reconfigured threading system featuring a servo-driven synthetic tension roll with UnderLoop lower threading table and rocker-arm debending assembly. It runs both steel and aluminum up to 0.187 in. thick at 48 in. wide and 0.312 in. thick at 12 in. wide, and it is rated for coils up to 30,000 lbs. The model DRFHDS-648 servo feed has 6-in. rolls and a pull-through straightener with 4-in.-dia. rolls.
