PennEngineering announces expanded lead-free initiative

Danboro, Pa.-based fastener system manufacturer PennEngineering® has announced it now uses lead-free material for the manufacture of its entire cataloged product line of steel fasteners.

The lead-free steel fasteners are made possible by applying new materials, processes, and tool technologies without compromising fastener quality and performance, according to the company. The conversion applies to all current production at PennEngineering manufacturing facilities around the world.
