AIDA-America delivers 200-ton servo press to Quality Metal Stamping

AIDA-America, Dayton, Ohio, has delivered a 200-ton DSF-C1-2000A servo press to Quality Metal Stamping, a metal stamping, fabrication, and custom metalworking facility in Henderson, Tenn.

The direct-drive, gap-frame press featuring Allen-Bradley control has helped the company achieve a nearly 50% efficiency improvement on parts previously produced on a mechanical press. Quality Metal Stamping credits the press’s complete programmability and optimizing high-volume parts to run in pendulum mode, achieving production rates of 110+ SPM, for this improvement.
