AIDA-America names new president, director of operations

AIDA-America, Dayton, Ohio, a manufacturer and refurbisher of metal stamping presses and metal forming automation equipment, has announced that President/COO Pat Ambuske will retire April 1 after 17 years of service. His previous positions with the company include engineering manager, director of operations, and vice president of operations. Ambuske will remain on the board of directors and will consult and work on assigned projects.

Takeshi Nakazawa, who transferred to AIDA-America as vice president of operations in March of 2017, has been promoted to president/COO. He joined the company in 1987 as a welder for AIDA Engineering in Japan. Nakazawa has held numerous positions in multiple AIDA locations, including production manager, manufacturing group leader, purchasing deputy manager, production planning deputy general manager, and production promotion executive general manager.

The company also has promoted Bob Adkins to director of operations. He joined the company in March 2013, serving most recently as purchasing manager.
