Ataco Steel Products adds press brake to Wisconsin facility

Ataco Steel Products Corp., a metal components manufacturer with headquarters in Cedarburg, Wis., has acquired a TRUMPF TruBend 5130 press brake.

The machine’s wide range accommodates any component geometry, and its 6-axis backgauge systems help ensure precise positioning. The Thickness Controlled Bending function compensates for variations in sheet thickness, and automatic tool clamping and automatic bend guards help reduce setup time.

The press brake features an ACB Laser automatic angle measuring system that records in real time. TecZone Bend programming software automatically generates programs based on input data.

Using the press brake, the company now can perform different types of forming, such as roll forming of large-radius parts. Short flanges, moldings, and holes near the bending line can all be accomplished without deformation.
