Dallas Industries delivers feed line to Lomanco

Dallas Industries, Troy, Mich., a manufacturer of coil handling and press feeding equipment and controls for the stamping industry, has delivered a feed line to Lomanco, a Jacksonville, Ark.-based manufacturer of residential ventilation products.

The 36-in.-wide conventional line is rated for handling coil weights up to 4,000 lbs. It includes a double reel with the ability to pay out from the top and bottom of the coil. The reel has an automatic adjusting brake with coil OD sensor to adjust brake pressure through job operation as the coil OD depletes. It has a DPS-2.25-8-24 eight-roll powered straightener with nonmarking provisions for soft and cosmetic material.

The line is fitted with Dallas’ SyncLoop technology, so the coil OD and loop depths are monitored and payout speeds adjusted based on a combination of the line speed average (from the feeder), coil OD size, and loop depth settings.
